FItter Machinist

We are seeking to employ experienced trade certified Fitter /Machinist in the manufacture of high quality food processing equipment.

This opportunity is in a workshop environment, where you will be assisting in building of machine(s) from a shell to the finished product. Your responsibilities will include machining components, lathe and milling, general engineering, plus installing of shafts, gear drives and other mechanical components to finished product.

These positions are not labour intensive, rather would suit individuals that take pride in workmanship, are accurate with measurements and markings, can read drawings and show genuine commitment within their trade.

You will be working in a small team environment, closely with your supervisor. Therefore it is important to be a team player and a good communicator.

Minimum qualifications would be completed trade certificates within the metals industry with emphasise on Fitting or Machining work, plus experience in welding. Daily overtime is offered.
