Coxswain

We are seeking an experienced vessel operator, with a minimum Coxswain qualification for Naval Patrol work in Sydney Harbour. Your base will be out of Garden Island at Woollomooloo.

You will be required to patrol Naval exclusion zones within Sydney Harbour with the assistance of a security guard, mastering a 20 ft twin hull vessel. Therefore you must have demonstrated experience with this vessel category and having worked on Sydney Harbour is advantageous, but not essential.

The work is based on 12 hour shifts, offering up to 3 shifts per week. Must be flexible with working hours and have 24 hour availability, preferably 7 days a week. Rosters are provided approximately one month in advance.

All competency certificates including first aid will be validated and must be current.
